Laughing Gas
Laughing gas (nitrous oxide + oxygen) is a gas mixture that is extremely safe and causes mild euphoria. In many instances, nervous patients find that this takes the edge off a tense appointment for them and helps them relax. When removed, nitrous oxide wears off quickly and completely. Patients can drive themselves home after using laughing gas at the dental appointment without worry.
